Peter Carlino
Peter grew up in Campbell, California and was raised in the backroom of the Carlino Brother’s “Time Market” in San Jose. Surrounded by love-to-cook Italians, Peter learned to bone pork butts, use a meat saw, and make Italian sausage - all by the age of 12.
Peter didn't really excel in school, but he learned a lot about using the best quality ingredients to produce great tasting food. At the age of 14, Peter jumped into work at the “Round House Delicatessen” in Campbell, and began to direct his interests towards catering. After serving six years in the US Naval Air Reserve, Peter opened up the “Felton Deli & Cheese Farm” in Felton, California with his brother Patrick. In 1982 Peter, Pat and Pete Carlino Sr. opened “Entrees Unlimited” in Pete Sr.’s family room in Campbell. The phrase “Corporate Catering” had not yet been heard of in 1982, but by 1984 they were building their first commercial kitchen in San Jose. 15 years later, with the catering company going stronger than ever, the trio built a state-of-the-art kitchen on Julian St. in downtown San Jose.
“Entrees Unlimited” has since produced over 36 million dollars worth of high quality catering fare, serving all of Silicon Valley.
Pete loves food, loves cooking, and loves sharing it all with others. |
