4-Minute Pasta Sauce
| 1/2 cup |
virgin olive oil |
| 1/2 cup |
diced onion |
| 2 cloves |
garlic, minced |
| 1/2 cup |
fresh fennel or sweet anis, chopped |
| 1/4 cup |
Italian parsley, chopped |
| 1/4 cup |
fresh basil |
| 1 cup |
white wine |
| 2 tablespoons |
butter |
| 1/4 teaspoon |
red pepper flakes |
| 32 oz |
chopped tomatoes in puree |
In a large frying pan, add half of the olive oil and butter and melt to blend. Add the onion, garlic, fennel and lightly brown. Add the white wine, crushed tomato puree, red pepper flakes, basil, parsley and the rest of the olive oil. Cook at high heat for 2 minutes to bring to a quick boil.
Your fresh great pasta sauce is now ready to serve! |
